About Alina
I am a History and Politics graduate from the University of Warwick, having studied History, Politics and English at A Level. I have a strong passion for the humanities and enjoy helping students build both their knowledge and confidence in these subjects.
After graduating, I began my career at Deloitte, working in Tax, where I developed strong analytical, communication and problem-solving skills. I now work at Unilever, where I continue to develop these skills in a fast-paced professional environment. As a tutor, I aim to make learning engaging and approachable, while helping students develop their critical thinking and achieve their academic goals.

I offer engaging, personalised lessons tailored to each student’s needs, whether you’re looking to build confidence, strengthen your essay writing, improve exam technique, or develop a deeper understanding of the subject.
My approach focuses on making complex historical and political ideas clear and accessible, while helping students develop the critical thinking and analytical skills needed to succeed. I aim to create a relaxed and supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, discussing ideas, and developing their own arguments.
