About Harvey
Hi! Harvey here. Having graduated from university a few years ago, I have since dabbled in freelance writing gigs and management roles. Recently, however, I have decided to return to history and pursue a career teaching what I am genuinely passionate about. I have always had an immense curiosity towards the past; from what made medieval societies tick to the intricate geopolitics of the Cold War. I don't believe there is a period of human history that isn't worth exploring.
I have always excelled at essay writing and the ability to think critically about a subject. In addition to offering productive history tuition, I have a sharp eye for details such as syntax, spelling, grammar, and fluency, thanks to my editorial background.
Hobbies include writing, meditating, going to the gym, and losing at chess.

I understand first and foremost, my job is to get pupils their desired grades. This is paramount. Students rarely fall short of their desired grades due to a lack of intelligence or even to a lack of understanding, but usually due to a lack of confidence. My promise is to instil this confidence.
I take pride in my tuition; I have studied the exam boards diligently and my lessons adhere to the syllabus. Nonetheless, I want to offer more than just help with past papers. I want to inspire pupils to want to improve. I offer animated, engaging, and dynamic lessons that are tailored to suit individual needs.
