About Megan
I am a student studying History at the University of Oxford - I have a real passion for History and I hope I can inspire other people too! I achieved top grades at GCSE and three A*s at A Level (History, English Literature and Economics.) It did take a lot of work but in the process I also got my revision and exam technique down to a T. I do believe, therefore, I could be a real help in helping other students refine their own. I also have experience in teaching - I worked as an assistant teacher in an art class for three years and have helped my younger sister with her GCSE studies, so I know the importance of patience. But I also know the feeling of having helped someone achieve something they worked so hard for!

Content is certainly something I can help with and I am happy to go over with you anything you don’t understand, taking into account your individual style of learning - e.g. through reading, visual presentation etc. I will also focus particularly on exam technique, especially if you are studying for your A-Levels as I really believe this is the key to reaching those top grades. I am happy to provide questions/past papers and mark them according to the mark schemes. Time can also be devoted to revision methods - some of you may have figured out what way works best for you already while others may be less confident in their approach. I am able to help in both cases, helping you to refine them or making new suggestions about what may work better. After all, having a tutor may be a real help but being able to revise on your own outside of our lessons is really important.

Megan is the hardest worker I’ve ever met… diligent with notes and very organised. She breezes through a particularly difficult and time consuming course at Oxford with her ability to consolidate sources effectively and quickly. She also happens to be very nice (which is always an added bonus!)
