About Anna
My name is Anna and I have loved history since I was a child. I studied it at GCSE, A level, and then proceeded to get my Bachelor's and Master's degree a couple of years ago in Lincoln. I myself struggled in my GCSE’s with grasping all the intricate details of the forms of history I was learning, but I had one teacher who really inspired me and helped me to regain confidence in myself and the love of the subject. This is something I wish to do for my students! History is such a vast and wonderful subject with so many different avenues and areas to explore, and if I am able to help inspire and teach you to love it as much as I did, then I believe I will have succeeded in my task of teaching and tutoring!

I have tutored online in the past, and believe a hands-on approach is the best when it comes to history. This subject is so vast and wonderful that I am happy to tutor students of any age, and believe that anyone has the ability to understand and love history if the method is done right. I believe in creating a comfortable and safe environment, working with different tools and learning not only with pen and paper but with tasks and tests in order to really grasp the wonderful types of history that people love. I’m happy to tutor lessons of any length needed to provide support to students.
