About Deanna
Hi! I’m a college student who genuinely enjoys helping others understand subjects that can sometimes feel confusing or overwhelming. I’m patient, approachable, and I believe there’s no such thing as a “stupid” question. I like to explain concepts in simple language, break difficult problems down step-by-step, and adjust my teaching style depending on what works best for each student. As someone who has recently taken challenging high school and college-level courses myself, I understand how stressful school can be, and I want my lessons to feel comfortable, encouraging, and productive. My goal is not just to help students get the right answer, but to help them understand how to get there on their own.

My teaching methods My lessons are personalized to each student’s needs and learning style. I focus on making difficult topics easier to understand by breaking them down into simple, manageable steps.
I like to work through problems together, explain the reasoning behind each step, and make sure students actually understand the material rather than just memorizing answers. Students are encouraged to ask questions and let me know when something isn’t making sense.
A typical lesson can include reviewing difficult topics, working through practice problems, preparing for upcoming tests or assignments, and going over anything the student is struggling with in class.
My goal is to create a comfortable environment where students can ask questions, make mistakes, and build confidence in the subject.
