About Dylan
Hi, I'm Dylan, and I'm a creative artist from Canada with over 10 years of experience as an art instructor. I graduated with distinction from a video game art program in college, and have been creating my own characters and illustrations for my entire life.
I love cartoons, comics, video games, and collecting toys, and I use these passions as the fuel for my creativity. This sets me apart from other art teachers, because I'm not interested in making pictures of teapots and bowls of fruit. I know how to take the cool things that young people love and use them to get excited about making art and learning the fundamentals that will serve them into the future. I also know the kinds of mistakes that beginner artists tend to make and the challenges that people often face while learning art, so I can help to put young artists on the right path to forming a positive relationship with the art world and their own work.
My lessons are fun, humorous, and full of surprises! Let's work together to build your young artists toward being the best they can be.
