About Nina
I believe every student has the ability to succeed and I am committed to helping all of my students reach their full potential.
My approach is guided in empathy and understanding, as I feel that students must be able to express areas where they are not confident in comfortably.
I am an empathetic, organized, and experienced tutor who creates a supportive and structured learning environment, tailoring each lesson to suit individual needs while building both academic ability and confidence.

Humanities graduate specialising in English and History, with experience teaching students from primary through to Year 12. I have over four years of tutoring experience in Mathematics and English, and offer a strong, adaptable approach to supporting diverse learning needs. I prefer delivering lessons online.
I also hold a background in science, having studied a Bachelor of Science, and am able to teach NCEA Level 2 Biology and Level 1 Science.
My teaching methods are dependent on the subject, but overall I follow a structured yet flexible approach that allows me to adapt to the needs and abilities of students.
