About Selly
I am a senior Communication student in Malaysia and am accustomed to using English in both casual and professional contexts. I have passed IELTS (International English Language System) twice and my last IELTS speaking was 8.5 out of 9. Previously, I taught peer-tutoring at my campus.
Check out my YouTube channel: Selly Gouw. Feel free to see how I speak English there! :)

I'll teach based on Barron's IELTS books used for IELTS preparation if necessary. I will use English in teaching but if the students are not fluent, it's ok to mix a little Indonesian here and there. This is intended to familiarize students with thinking in English, not translating from Indonesian to English.
I can teach younger students too if needed.

Overall, sangat recommended banget sama Miss Selly !
I've practiced my English speaking skills with Selly for about 3 months, and I've improved a lot! She is an excellent teacher with proficient English skills. She also created fun learning processes during the class that sparked interaction with students. She gave applicable tips to boost my speaking skills and reasonable amount of homework. Honestly, I do really recommend her to anyone who wants to learn and practice their English!
