About Paula

I spent 2 years in the United States, 1 of them living with an English teacher who taught me everything I know regarding the dynamics of teaching someone. The focus of my classes is exclusively IELTS speaking practice, the test used for immigration and study purposes.

About the lesson

At each meeting we will have a theme, and it will be developed throughout the class, always in the IELTS speaking format. There are no tricks, just lots of practice and understanding how the test works so that you do not get caught off guard and get the dreamed 9.0
My aim are students who have an intermediate-advanced/advance English level, and that are seeking preparation for the IELTS exam and who seek to have English conversations inserted in their routine to not lose practice.

He is polite and he was pontual. His english is good, he doesn't make a lot of mistakes and he knows how to construct good phrases. Focal points: pronunciation of some words, try to work on complex sentences and acquire more vocabulary.

I took a couple of lessons for IELTS speaking part and I highly recommend Prof. Paula. We did at least 2 mock speaking tests every class. She is pontual, flexible with the time of the class, and strongly committed. After each question she provided a high level feedback about pronunciation, grammar and collocation and also encourage students to try new vocabulary. On the whole, she played an important role in my success at IELTS. Her classes definitely helped me to be confident and calm on the day of exam.
