About Clara
I am an Imperial College London Biological Sciences student currently on a gap year, allowing me to dedicate even more time and attention to my students. I achieved a score of 44/45 in the IB, with 7s in Higher Level Chemistry, Biology, and Maths Analysis & Approaches. With over 3 years of experience tutoring more than 10 IB and pre-IB students one-on-one, I have honed my ability to translate complex science into simple language, ensuring students grasp key concepts with confidence. I design personalised strategic tutoring plans that emphasise structured revision, targeted practice, and effective exam techniques. A key part of my approach involves reviewing incorrect answers in detail, as I believe this is the most effective way to improve exam performance. I also provide insider tips and strategies for achieving top grades. My lessons are conducted in English (and/or Korean), typically lasting one to two hours, and are suitable for IB, IGCSE, MYP, and pre-IB/GCSE/MYP students who need support in Biology and Chemistry. Additionally, I assist students preparing for university applications to the UK, Hong Kong, and Canada.
