About Alexandra
Hello! I am Alexandra, a student of Medical Biosciences at Imperial College London.
Having recently gone through secondary education, I know exactly what it is like to be studying for exams, and hence can support my students, not only with content, but also with tools to perfect exam technique and deal with exam stresses, helping them become confident examinees.
I am especially familiar with the International Edexcel (Pearson) and OCR exam boards (having gone through them myself) but am also confident tutoring others, such as AQA and Edexcel.
I was (and still am) a curious learner, so I understand a student's need to ask questions and am always patient and thorough when answering, no matter how many.

I attune each lesson to whatever my student needs, whether that is learning new content, exam preparation or anything else they may need support with.
I understand the importance of active learning, so I am always testing my students throughout the lessons to ensure they are solidifying their knowledge and I begin every lesson with a recap question from the previous topic to ensure knowledge is consolidated.
Then, we will go through any errors in the work I have assigned to complete between lessons to ensure there are no knowledge gaps.
Next, we will move onto the work I have prepared to target what my student needs out of the lesson.
