About Denis

I moved to England to commence my A-levels. At first it required a lot of adapting to new memorising techniques and ways of learning new content quickly.

I finished my A-Levels with 3A* (Biology, Chemistry and Maths) and currently attend Imperial College London, studying BSc Medical Biosciences.

I believe that topics you study need to be explained from different angles and revised using different techniques in order to maximise one's ability to recall and use the knowledge.

Thanks to my extended experience as a personal tutor, I am able to your studying routine.

About the lesson

I have always been able to find an explanation, that is also comprehensive for the person I help. If the first explanation does not work, I always find a non-confusing and suitable way of explaining, for instance a math equasion. I believe that memorizing does not work for most people and every theory must have an origin, hence I always try, when I teach math, to find a connection to daily life in order to assure that my student finally understands what I am trying to say and eventually does not forget my explanation.

Denis has a great way of explaining concepts in a very accurate way and he always makes sure that everything is understood, if not he always makes sure to repeat himself . He is also quite enthusiastic while teaching which makes it very easy for me to understand and ask more questions.

Denis is a great tutor, he always arrives well prepared for the lesson and knows exactly how to work my brain to retain all information. Having a one session a week already bumped my grades significantly. I am to ger B average grade on all my A-levels and it would be impossible to achieve without these Denis!
