Iulia is a wonderful chess teacher for our two kids. She is organized, patient, and makes lessons fun, and the children always look forward to them. We’ve seen their confidence and love for chess grow. Highly recommend!

I came across Julia by chance and she had this vibe that just seemed like she would be kind and considerate with me. I was an absolute beginner going into this but honestly since being taught by Julia I feel more confident and I have a solid way of understanding whats happening. I'm autistic and have a horrible memory but Julia helped me understand and remember in terms suited for my brain and she was so amazing for me. She has patience and compassion when I feel doubtful or struggle, she encourages in such a kind way that I feel so comfortable with her. She has such a vast knowledge of something so beautiful and it was amazing learning from her. Thanks to Julia I can understand and be able to play confidently now! I really recommend her for people of any level! Thank you so much x

Julia is a great teacher, she is very patient when going through my games and I enjoy how interactive our lessons are. Since starting my lessons with Julia I've improved in spotting tactics and learnt what openings work for me.

Julia has been teaching me chess, and I’ve really enjoyed learning with her. She’s patient, explains ideas clearly, and adapts each lesson to my level, making even difficult concepts easy to understand.

What I appreciate most is that she encourages me to think through positions rather than simply giving me the answers. It’s made learning both enjoyable and rewarding, and I’ve already noticed my confidence improving. I’d happily recommend Julia to anyone looking for a friendly and knowledgeable chess tutor.

I’ve been friends with Julia for 16 years and her passion for chess has always stood out. What I appreciate most is how she explains ideas clearly, adapts to each student’s level, and makes learning both fun and encouraging. I highly recommend Julia to anyone looking to improve their chess in a supportive and enjoyable way.
