About Sneha
Sneha Hegde is a seasoned Hindustani classical vocalist with extensive experience performing on prestigious stages across India and abroad. Beginning her musical journey with foundational guidance from GN Bijapure, she later trained under the esteemed Dr. Alka Deo Marulkar of the Jaipur Gharana through the Guru Shishya Parampara for over a decade. Sneha currently serves as the Regional Manager at Suresh Wadkar's Ajivasan Music Academy in Bengaluru, where she also imparts her knowledge as a dedicated music educator. Alongside her primary role, she engages in music therapy and content creation, enriching the musical landscape.

If you're expecting a "Be-a-Bollywood-sensation-in-15-days" kind of class, this isn't it :D Mastering an art is a journey that demands dedication, effort; and most importantly, a passion for crafting beautiful art. The class will focus on an Indian traditional approach to learning Hindustani Classical vocal music, allowing you to develop and enhance both your voice and creativity, which I believe are the two primary aspects of mastering this art form. We won’t follow a strict syllabus or set the number of ragas to learn in a fixed timeframe, but you'll gain a deep understanding of each raga through exploration. The knowledge and skills acquired in the classes are designed to naturally equip you for certification exams without the need for specific exam-focused training. Workshops will be conducted periodically, focusing on diverse subjects such as vocal yoga, riyaz techniques, and various other facets. What Is offered: Personalized 1:1 classes of 1 hour duration The timing of the class will be decided based on mutual availability of schedules.
