About JOSHUA
I'm an independent artist, songwriter, producer, and recording engineer currently studying at Berklee College of Music. Over the last several years, I've built my own artist project to over 1.8 million streams and have been featured by publications including EARMILK and Obscure Sound multiple times. My music has received more than 100 press placements, and my songs are mastered by multi-GRAMMY-winner John Greenham (Billie Eilish, FINNEAS). In addition to developing my own releases, I've worked with artists as a songwriter, producer, vocal producer, and engineer, helping bring songs from ideas to finished records.
I believe music is learned best through creating, not memorizing. My approach focuses on practical, real-world skills-songwriting, production, arrangement, vocal production, recording, and artist development-while helping each student discover their own voice and artistic identity. Whether you're just beginning or already releasing music, my goal is to help you make records you're proud of and become a more confident, self-sufficient artist.

I've built my career as an independent artist, songwriter, and producer, accumulating over 1.8 million streams while studying at Berklee College of Music and working with artists across pop and electronic music. Together with my production partner Derya Ertin, I offer private coaching for singers, songwriters, and producers who want to turn ideas into finished records.
Our lessons are highly personalized and centered around real-world music making rather than rigid exercises. A typical session may include songwriting, melody development, lyric feedback, arrangement, production techniques, vocal production, mixing fundamentals, and artist development. Students are encouraged to bring their own songs and demos so we can work directly on material that matters to them.
What sets our approach apart is that we actively release music and work with artists ourselves. Rather than teaching from a textbook, we focus on helping students develop their own sound, finish stronger songs, and build the skills needed to become confident, self-sufficient artists.
Our lessons are ideal for beginner to intermediate singers, songwriters, producers, and artists who are serious about improving their craft and taking their music to the next level.
