About Eshwar
Welcome!
I’m a full stack software engineer with 7+ years of industry experience(two startups and one big company), contributed to large open-source projects, built production-level applications, and completed a CS degree at Computer Science at Arizona State University with a 3.6 GPA. The technologies that I have used in my career are Javascript/Typescript, Python, Reactjs, Nextjs, SQL, and much more.
The reason I believe I'm a great fit for people wanting to learn how to code is because it did not come easy to me. I spent years struggling, going to a coding bootcamp, self-teaching. I do not have a traditional background of high school -> then a great college and then a job. I believe my own non-traditional path helps me empathize and explain concepts better in a way other tutors cannot.
I offer a first free 30 minute consultation, and I look forward to seeing you!

I teach JavaScript, React, Python, and Data Structures using a clean, project-based approach focused on REAL engineering skills — not boring textbook theory. My lessons feel like working with an actual software engineer, not a traditional professor who might not know the real inustry applications of the theory.
What a typical lesson looks like:
Understanding your level: before we get our hands dirty, I usually always spend the beginning of my lessons understanding your current levels and hearing your goals.
Core Concept Breakdown: I turn advanced topics like React Hooks, async/await, or Python dictionaries into simple, intuitive ideas. I also teach pure fundamentals and basics(wherever your level is!).
Project building and goal setting: We'll set goals for you and milestones to accomplish every single week so you are progressing on your journey.
Who my lessons are for:
CS undergrads struggling with algorithms or assignments
Bootcamp students stuck on React, JavaScript fundamentals, or capstones
Self-taught developers preparing for internships or first tech jobs
Total beginners who want to learn coding the RIGHT way
What sets me apart:
As an ASU Computer Science student and a developer with real startup experience + contributions to a 16K-star open-source project, I teach you the practical techniques actual engineers use daily. I don’t just help you pass a class — I level up your thinking so you start coding like a future Senior Engineer.

I recently completed a Java development course with Eshwar and overall it was a very worthwhile experience. He has a strong grasp of core Java concepts and explains in a clear and structured way. What stood out most was his ability to make me understand how Java is used in real-world applications
The classes were well-organized, and each session built logically on the previous one. Eshwar also encouraged questions and was patient when revisiting difficult concepts.
I totally recommend him for anyone who is keen in building a strong foundation on Java and move towards development roles!
Thank you Eshwar!Eshwar is very skilled with Python and Javascript, I have been taking classes for a few months and hard concepts i used to struggle with are now much easiar
I love how organized he is and he sets goals and gives homework for students every week almost as if your taking a classEshwar is fantastic at helping learners both beginners and intermediate grow in both chess and coding. His sessions are thoughtfully structured, and incredibly supportive, making complex topics feel manageable and fun. He brings the energy, clarity, and dedication to every lesson.
My son Haa been seen Eshwar for the last 7 months for chess and has improved dramatically from (700 to 1300 rating).I was very surprised how dramatic improvement was in the first month itself, with the first few lessons focusing on opening principles and tactics.
He makes the game very fun and interactive for beginners and provides a long term plan and structure for improvement.
He also teaches coding and is a professional software engineer, highly skilled in both fields and would recommend to anyone wanting to improve coding or chess skills.Amazing chess teacher! I started a couple of years ago and it was great to hone my skills and learn new openings and strategies. Definitely recommend to others!
Eshwar has been my chess tutor for several months, and he is exceptionally patient. As a beginner, I was worried about the complexity of the game, but he broke down opening principles and mid-game tactics in a way that was easy to digest. He doesn't just tell you the right move; he teaches you the logic behind it. I highly recommend him to anyone looking to build a strong foundation in chess
What sets Mr.Eshwar apart is his ability to develop strategic thinking and patience among students. He not only teaches moves and rules but also focuses on improving concentration, decision-making, and problem-solving skills. His teaching style is very engaging, and he ensures that every student understands the concepts properly.
He is very supportive, disciplined, and always encourages students to give their best. Under his guidance, many students have improved their chess skills and gained confidence in competitions.
I strongly recommend Mr.Eshwar as a chess teacher. He is truly dedicated to his work and plays an important role in shaping students' minds.
He understands kids and their level. He uses real life examples and projects so kids can see it is worth it.
As a coding student of Eshwar’s I’ve witnessed firsthand Eshwar’s ability to teach both coding and chess. He has a proven track record of moving students from complete beginners to intermediate levels by focusing on core opening principles and tactical patterns.
I took his coding classes, and can attest that he is a highly skilled software engineer in Python and JavaScript. He helped me master programming fundamentals by explaining complex logic in a clear, beginner-friendly way that most tutors struggle to articulate. If you want a mentor who actually makes the material click, Eshwar is the best choice.
What I love most about him for his teaching style is that he develops long-term plans and curriculums almost as if you're taking a course with goals every single month.Eshwar is a great teacher who can help you out in many different ways. Whether it’s programming or other subjects, he explains things really well and makes the learning process easy. He’s helped me a ton and is still helping me reach my goals. On top of that, he’s just a cool guy to work with.
I started working with Eshwar about a month or two ago, and weekly sessions with him has helped my chess immensely. He has provided a valuable regiment and very informative sessions. When I began working with him I was rated 800 rapid, and in these last two months I have reached 1200 rapid rating. He has been a pleasure to work with and I would recommend his services.
I highly recommend Eshwar as a computer programming tutor. He explains complex concepts clearly and ensures you truly understand them. His patient and personalized approach builds both skills and confidence. Eshwar focuses on practical learning and problem-solving, making sessions highly effective. A great choice for anyone looking to strengthen their programming skills.
He is very good at training Python, React JS, React Native, and JavaScript. I was surprised he could solve problems by looking at the tricky algorithm questions and provide a solution to pass test cases. For example, using the right data structure, Python code, etc. I just drew a blank on interview questions on Python, and he helped me analyze and solve them. Certainly recommend him.
Highly recommend, great coder and always up to date on the latest trends.
I’ve known Eshwar for a while and can confidently say he’s one of the most technically sharp, self-driven programmers I know. He doesn’t just learn concepts, he builds real things with them.
One thing that really stood out to me was when he independently built a full-stack sports tracking application, well before AI coding tools were common. It showed both strong technical depth and the ability to think through product design, architecture, and implementation end-to-end.
Beyond his skills, Eshwar is also a genuinely great person. He’s kind, friendly, patient, and brings positive energy to conversations, the type of person you want to learn complex topics from.
I’d highly recommend Eshwar to anyone looking to learn computer programming.Helpful tutor, super friendly, competent and thorough. Highly recommend
I am related to Eshwar. I know Eshwar personally, I have seen him mentor kids at his coding bootcamp as well as get two professional software engineering job offers after(one of them being above 6 figures!), I am confident he loves coding and would be a great teacher.
Eshwar is incredibly patient and has a natural gift for breaking down complex topics. I’ve seen him help others with technical subjects, and he always ensures the person truly understands the 'why' behind the work, not just the answer. He is professional, reliable, and deeply committed to seeing his students succeed.I met Eshwar at a meet-up event, and we are both Flatiron School Bootcamp Grads. He is a very accomplished software engineer and teacher. He can help students understand complex concepts such as algorithms by explaining them in simple terms.
I met Eshwar when we were both working weekend shifts at Equinox — me at the front desk while also working full-time as a software engineer, and him studying computer science. We bonded quickly over tech, and I was immediately impressed by how curious, driven, and sharp he was.
Eshwar is a quick study who genuinely cares about improving and mastering his craft. He asks thoughtful questions, puts in the work, and approaches challenges with maturity and resilience. I have no doubt he’s an incredible programming teacher — patient, knowledgeable, and deeply committed to helping his students grow.I’ve seen firsthand how passionate he is about software engineering and teaching. He is patient and genuinely cares about explaining concepts in a clear way. As a tutor/mentor I am sure he will go out of his way for his students.
