I am an instructor at the University of Calgary where I also did all of my education! I grew up in Calgary and always loved reading about science and teaching, even as a kid! I love working with students of all levels and always try to learn myself because my belief is that we are all students at different stages of life

My teaching philosophy prioritizes student engagement, clarity of objectives, and open communication. With a proven track record of success in mentoring students at various academic levels, I am excited about making a positive impact on student learning and development.
I take a hands-on approach and make sure to provide scaffolding for students while allowing them to learn how to work independently ( and tackle problems).
A typical lesson will consist of review, practice, new lesson overview, more practice, and goal-setting and tracking for the future
