About Sarah
My name is Sarah Sacher, I am 22 years old and studied English and Spanish as a teacher (BA) at the Leibniz University of Hanover. Before my stay abroad in Spain, I worked as an English teacher at a community college for 1.5 years, where I offered various courses at various levels. In the secondary school sector, I designed, carried out and assessed official written and oral final exams as part of the second education path. I have been giving private tutoring since the 8th grade and have always enjoyed helping my students on their way to their dream grades.

In order for us to achieve a successful result, it is essential to evaluate your current level and to define your goals as clearly as possible (e.g. the best grade possible on the school certificate in English, TOEFL test, Cambridge Certificate, fluent in business English, etc.) I create an individual learning plan for each of my students for at least 6 weeks, which we then approve together. Basically, I advocate the following principles: In each lesson (usually 60 minutes): - Introduction of 10-15 new vocabulary items - at least 15 minutes of language practice - Treatment of authentic materials based on personal interest -homework for the next lesson However, this is personally tailored to you and can be adjusted up or down individually. It is also very important to me to make the lessons as fun, efficient and understandable as possible. So that we can make good progress, it goes without saying that my students can reach me on WhatsApp if questions arise.
