I have had 8 years of experience tutoring students from middle school to college-aged, which has given me insight into the learning and studying habits one must cultivate as they progress through their education. My approach involves understanding the student’s challenges to tailor the lessons accordingly. Depending on the student’s needs, we can focus on development, practice, or mastery of a particular skill. Lesson activities involve working on school assignments and drawing from real world examples to improve skills. Throughout the tutoring, the student is always involved and able to suggest ways to align the activities with his or her goals.
