About Daria

With a career that has taken me across Europe and beyond. Trained in the great traditions of classical singing, I bring a global perspective to my teaching and performing. What makes my profile unique: • I speak four languages (English, French, Italian, Russian), which allows me to coach students in diction, interpretation, and the authentic style of each repertoire. • I have performed on prestigious stages internationally, giving me insight into the realities of both European and American music scenes. • My artistry combines operatic technique with dramatic expression, allowing me to mentor not only singers but also performers who want to bring depth to their stage presence. I strongly believe that music is a universal language. My international background helps me connect with students from all cultures and adapt lessons to their personal needs and artistic dreams.

About the lesson

As an international opera singer with over 60 countries of touring biography, I bring not only the rare knowledge of the bel canto tradition but also the ability to adapt this timeless technique to every voice and personality. My teaching is rooted in the idea that every student is unique — therefore, my lessons are never “one size fits all.” I take the time to understand your voice, your artistic goals, and your character, so together we can build a technique that feels natural, powerful, and expressive. Whether you dream of singing on stage, preparing for auditions, or simply discovering the beauty of your own voice, I will guide you with patience, precision, and a deeply personal touch. You will learn: • Core bel canto principles: breath control, resonance, projection. • Expressive phrasing and interpretation, inspired by the great operatic tradition. • Healthy technique to develop flexibility, stamina, and range. • Confidence in performance — from opera and classical repertoire to crossover styles. Each lesson is a dialogue, not a lecture — a space where your individuality is celebrated, and your voice finds its true colors.

My name is Kevin Meidl and I am a professional teacher and music conductor from Wisconsin. I have known Daria Davidova for many years and have worked with her to create concerts, workshops, and other student-oriented educational projects. I know her musicianship well and am very pleased to recommend her as a voice or piano instructor.

Daria is the highest level musician I know. She has a remarkable voice and is extremely well-trained as a singer in opera, musical theatre, classical art song, and folk-style repertoire. To say she is diverse in her ability to work in each genre would be an understatement. She has a gorgeous and flexible soprano voice that she uses to create artistic and expressive vocal art.

Daria is equally versed in piano. Her technical abilities are easily observed when she sits at a keyboard. She enjoys teaching and giving examples from the piano bench and it seems like she is completely “at home” when she is in that position.

Her warm, funny, and scholarly personality bring music to life for students and audience members alike. As a guest artist, performer, or teacher she is world-class.

I am pleased to highly recommend Daria Davidova as a teacher for any student looking for excellence in voice training or piano instruction. She will work easily with any age student. You will not find a teacher more able to meet your needs!
