About Kate
I've always been fascinated by the natural world and have loved science since I was a child. From exploring the complexity of living organisms to solving challenging problems, I love how these subjects help us uncover the ‘why’ and ‘how’ behind everything. I'm a very logical thinker and enjoy exploring how things work, which is why I’m passionate about these subjects. I've gained valuable experience through various work placements, including at the Natural History Museum and at an environmental consulting company, which have deepened my understanding of science in the real world. I'm excited to tutor biology, chemistry, and mathematics to help others develop their knowledge and confidence in these subjects, making learning both enjoyable and rewarding!

Each lesson will start with a review of what you’ve already learnt to identify any areas of weakness. Based on this, we’ll set clear targets for our next sessions, where I'll go over key concepts in detail to ensure you fully grasp the material. Then, we’ll apply this strengthened knowledge to specific exam questions, giving you practice and boosting your confidence. My lessons will range from an hour to an hour and a half, allowing us to cover topics in depth while maintaining focus and engagement. I focus on clear explanations and practical examples, breaking down complex topics to make them easier to understand. With a supportive, patient approach, I aim to build your confidence and help you progress at your own pace. Whether through interactive lessons, problem-solving, or personalised study tips, I strive to make each session engaging and productive so you can truly master the material and succeed.
