About Yusuf
I’m Yusuf, currently studying Medicine at King’s College London. I got A* in Biology, A in Chemistry, and A in Economics at A-level, and I’m genuinely interested in helping students do well in these subjects — partly because I remember exactly what helped (and didn’t help) me when I was in their position.
I’ve tutored a GCSE student in Biology and Chemistry who ended up getting two grade 7s, and I also help students applying to Medicine with their personal statements and UCAS applications, since I went through that process myself fairly recently.
My approach is patient and focused on actually understanding the material rather than just memorising it — I’ll adapt sessions based on what a student is struggling with rather than sticking to a fixed script. I hold an Enhanced DBS certificate and I’m happy to do an introductory session so we can see if it’s a good fit.
Outside of tutoring, I learn languages and lift weights, so I get that balancing academics with other commitments isn’t always easy — I try to keep sessions efficient and worth the time.

Hi, I’m Yusuf, a Medicine student at King’s College London. I achieved A* in Biology, A in Chemistry, and A in Economics at A-level, and offer two types of tutoring:
GCSE & A-Level Biology and Chemistry I’ve previously tutored a GCSE student in Biology and Chemistry who went on to achieve two grade 7s in both subjects. I focus on building genuine understanding of the syllabus rather than just memorisation — exam technique, common mistakes, and how to structure high-mark answers. As a current medical student, I can explain why concepts matter at degree level, not just what to memorise for the exam.
