About Samuel
Hi! I've recently graduated from sixth form with A* Psychology, A* English Literature, and A Sociology at A-Level, so I know how stressful secondary school can be, especially when teachers may move on too quickly and not be able to give you advice and attention that works for you. My goal as a tutor is to help other students to find their passion for education and achieve their ambitions, by listening to how you learn and what you want to work on, so that you can achieve your best.

I believe strongly in peer learning, in which students learn from other students on a basis of what they feel would be most productive for them to learn, in a friendly, more casual environment than the classroom, to ensure that they feel comfortable while still maintaining productivity. As such, my lessons are focused around what the individual student has recently accomplished, what they wish to focus on, and their educational ambitions, without judgment, and with mutual understanding from someone with similar, relatable experience in education. As a recent A-Level student going into university to study Sociology , I believe I am best suited to teach students in KS3-6th form, in lessons between 0.5-1.5hrs according to preference, in Sociology, English Literature, or Psychology, although I am open to teaching other subjects at a lower level (i.e. KS3-GCSE).
