About Jazz
Having transferred from the International Baccalaureate into the NCEA in year 12, I very quickly became adapted to the framework NCEA follows. I had completed English Level 2 and 3 at the Top Scholar level within that same year using a few tips and tricks I'd learnt as to how best to dissect, analyse and communicate ideas in text from the IB system - tricks I'd love to share with you!

My aim in the 45 minutes we spend together will be to help hone not only your literate and critical thinking skills, but to show you how to apply these lenses to our wider society - an essential skill for achieving excellence in English. I am looking to help students struggling with NCEA English at all levels to gain both an understanding and an aptitude for tackling this subject.
