About Gabriella
I studied translation in 1993/1996, I speak four languages (English, Italian, French and Spanish). Since 2006 I have taught classes at all levels, combining my work as a translator in large multinational companies and consulting firms in Madrid. My classes are "tailored-made courses" attending to the real need of the student. They cover both preparation for exams (Cambridge, EOI) and "business English", grammar, conversation, in short all kinds of needs that are required. Likewise, I specialized in teaching English in seminars and intensive courses in business English, business English, written communication (emails, letters) and oral communication, conversations and telephone skills. I also have extensive experience in work environments in tax and legal matters.

My method, as I have emphasized, varies according to need. "Thomson and Martinet grammar" is the grammar that I advise and from there I am adding what I consider appropriate (phrasal verbs, listening differentiated between British and American English), phonetics, vocabulary, modal verbs, idioms, translations, compositions and others that I prepare personally and based on the assessment of learning. In short, I have come across many students with diplomas (B1, B2, C1 etc ...) who have been limited when it comes to having to function in their work environment. Classes are always given in the source language, in this case English.
