About Sunniva
I had a passion for English in Secondary School and excelled in my class. I study Law and History at DCU, I spend the majority of my time reading, analysing documents, and writing essays to a high level. When I was studying for my leaving cert (2022), my friend was struggling in English and I offered to help him. He received a H5 in his mock exams (which was before I offered help in return for Math grinds) and in his Leaving Cert he accomplished a H2.

My lessons would last about 40 minutes to an Hour. I would focus on what the student is struggling with the most. In my experience, I use past exam papers as they were my lifesaver throughout secondary school. I would go through how to approach each question and thus how to deliver what it is asking for, from there I would help with essay structure, grammar, vocabulary, and use of quotations. I would tailor each lesson based on what each students is struggling with in particular and what they want to benefit from my lesson. I can teach any year in secondary school, as well as exam prep focus for Junior and Leaving Cert. I would not advocate myself for a higher level Leaving Cert student if you would prefer someone with more teaching experience, but if you think I am the right fit for you I would put my all into the lessons to help you achieve the best result. I prefer in person but I am willing to do Zoom calls for lessons.
