About Jean

I am a first-class Cambridge Law graduate and a trainee at a Magic Circle Law firm. I have been tutoring for many years, and I take pride in helping my students achieve their full potential. I am very luccky to have met numerous people who helped me along the way in my studies and TC applications, and would like to pass it on and share my knowledge with my students.

About the lesson

Career counselling: I am a trainee at a Magic Circle law firm, and have done 3 vacation schemes in London (2 at top US firms and 1 at my current firm). I have also done 2 vacation schemes in Singapore for top Asian firms. I have an extensive understanding of the legal recruitment process and will be able to assist you in your law firm applications as well as Assessment Centre/interview preparation through 1 on 1 mentorship. For written applications, I can assist with giving insights on firm research and how to approach applicantion questions/showcase your competencies in the best way. When you reach the AC/interview stage, I can run mock interviews and share my personal bank of case studies/commercial awareness materials and notes to practice and share with my students.

Law tutoring: I can tutor for both problem questions and essays for land and equity at undergraduate level. I have extensive PQ and essay sample questions and answers/notes. I scored a first in these subjects and have consistent taught them go students over the last 2 years. I differ from other tutors offering generic lessons as I focus on going through worked examples in each lesson and sharing my sample answers after. I have helped numerous students improve their grades rapidly through this approach.
