About Leah

Hello! I’m LEAH, from Southeast China—a passionate and experienced Chinese tutor. Over the past two years, I’ve guided students from the U.S. through real-world Chinese—from daily chit-chat to confident social interactions. ️ Teaching Philosophy & Expertise • Task-based learning: I base every lesson on real-life tasks—ordering street food, asking for directions, bargaining in a market—so students build practical fluency, accuracy, and confidence quickly Total Physical Response (TPR): We pair each new phrase with simple actions or gestures. This method boosts memory and lowers anxiety—learning becomes natural and stress-free. Why Learn with LEAH • I share authentic, daily expressions from my travels across China—no textbook clichés. • Lessons are interactive and enjoyable—learning feels like a fun conversation, not a lecture. • I tailor every class to your level, goals, and interests—whether travel, work, or social chatting. Who Benefits Most • Adults with beginner to intermediate Chinese who want real-life speaking confidence. • Travelers, professionals, or anyone planning to use Chinese in everyday life. • Learners who prefer dynamic, conversation-centered classes over rote grammar drills.
