About Crystal
I’m a Master’s graduate in International Chinese Education from Shanghai Normal University, with rich experience teaching Chinese to international students. My HSK courses have helped students reach a 95% pass rate, and I hold the International Chinese Teacher Certificate. I’ve led pre-college Chinese programs, designing lessons for all levels—from beginners to advanced learners. A key part of my classes is integrating Chinese culture: I often introduce the zhongruan (a traditional Chinese plucked string instrument), letting students experience its unique sound and cultural background while practicing language. My personalized, interactive approach helps students build practical skills and grow confident in using Chinese, whether for exams, daily communication, or cultural exploration.
