About Pierre
About Me: Where Musical Artistry Meets Engineering Logic
I am a professional guitarist with 25 years of stage experience, an elite mentor to over 1,500 students, and an electrical engineer. This unique combination of high-level artistry and a technical background fundamentally shapes how I teach.
I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering. This background means I do not look at guitar playing as a series of vague, confusing instructions. Instead, I view the fretboard and musical technique through a lens of absolute logic, structure, and mechanics.
My Analytical Approach to MusicLogical, Broken-Down Explanations: I strip away the complex, frustrating jargon often found in traditional music education. I analyze exactly how your hands move and explain the structural mechanics of the guitar in an easy-to-understand, systematic way.
Engineering Precision for Technique: Proper finger placement, wrist angles, and postural ergonomics are based on physics and geometry. By treating technique as a precise framework, I ensure you make maximum progress while completely protecting your joints from fatigue or future strain.
Custom Troubleshooting: No two students think the same way. If you hit a roadblock with a difficult classical arrangement or an acoustic fingerstyle pattern, my engineering mindset allows me to diagnose the exact issue immediately and engineer a simple, tailored workaround for your hands.
Whether your goal is to master complex classical pieces, build effortless acoustic speed, or pass high-level AMEB/ABRSM exams with confidence, you will learn using a clear, predictable, and highly efficient roadmap.

The Lesson Experience: Artistry, Ergonomics, and Fun
Music is far more than hitting the right notes, it is about interpreting the piece and making it your own.
My progressive teaching methodology is designed to nurture a genuine love for classical and acoustic guitar, creating a strong artistic connection that naturally enhances your practice time and delivers rapid results.
My Teaching FrameworkArtistic Interpretation: We look beyond the sheet music to explore phrasing, dynamics, and emotional expression so your playing truly tells a story.
Progressive Confidence: Lessons move at a structured, tailored pace that ensures steady growth, allowing you to build real confidence without feeling overwhelmed.
Injury Prevention & Technique: Proper mechanical technique is non-negotiable for effective progression. I focus heavily on ergonomic hand positioning and posture to protect your body and prevent strains or long-term injuries.
Engaging & Playful Environment: Most of all, music is supposed to be fun. I ensure that high-level technical progression is always balanced with an enjoyable, motivating studio atmosphere.
Your Commitment
While I provide the easy-to-follow blueprints and adaptive guidance during our sessions, consistent and structured practice is the true key to unlocking your full potential.
