About Charles
Hi -
I'm a retired programmer with a 25 year career in software development for a global financial institution behind me, training and mentoring novice programmers as part of my day to day work, as well as writing many thousands of lines of code across dozens of projects.
I'm very experienced in the use of Microsoft Office software, especially Word, Excel and PowerPoint and am happy to provide tuition for this.
I'm proficient in a number of programming languages, including c/c++, java, python (for beginners) and more, and I'm also experienced in teaching with Scratch.
Although I have quite a formal writing style, my teaching style is relaxed, friendly and patient. I'm at home with both novice and more experienced students.
Sessions will be tailored to your individual goals, and delivered at a pace to suit you.
