About Isabeau
Hi, I'm Isabeau! I hold a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from UC Berkeley and a Master of Science in Computer Science Education from the University of Washington. I was honored with the National K–12 STEM Coding Excellence Medal on a leading tutoring platform in 2023, received the Young Learners Tech Education Innovation Award from a national digital education council in 2022, and hold a perfect 5.0 rating across more than 255 completed sessions with multiple students winning National Junior Coding and AI Challenge Gold Medals. Outside of teaching I am a passionate competitive rock climber who trains both indoors and outdoors, and I love designing and building intricate geometric origami structures — two wonderfully spatial, strategic, and deeply satisfying hobbies that have made me a far more creative and precise problem-solver in every coding lesson I teach!

I teach online one-on-one live coding and computer programming lessons for students from Grade 1 through Grade 12. Flexible scheduling available every day. Absolute beginners are completely welcome — coding feels natural and exciting from the very first lesson.
If logical thinking, Python, web design, AI concepts, game development, or any coding topic has been an area you have been having trouble with, I will help you understand it through clear explanations, useful examples, and a lot of guided and dynamic practice. I will teach you the way you want to understand it.
For young beginners in Grades K–5 I use Scratch-based visual coding, simple logic games, and fun creative mini-projects that make programming feel like play from day one. For Grades 6–12 I cover Python fundamentals and intermediate programming, AI and Machine Learning basics, JavaScript and HTML and CSS for web development, Java and object-oriented programming, C++ for algorithms and data structures, SQL for database basics, and video game development using Pygame and Unity basics.
I provide comprehensive guidance on coding homework, school projects, debugging practice, portfolio building, and AP Computer Science A and Principles exam preparation. I share progress updates consistently and always keep every family fully informed and enthusiastic about their student's coding journey.
