About Kirsty

I am the owner and founder of my own training and consultancy business, with over 33 years of experience delivering training, coaching, and professional development to individuals and organisations throughout the UK and internationally. During this time, I have helped people of all skill levels develop confidence and expertise in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams, as well as general computer and workplace skills.

My approach is friendly, patient, and tailored to each learner's individual goals and learning style. Whether you are a complete beginner, returning to work, looking to improve your career prospects, or simply wanting to become more confident with technology, I provide professional, practical, and supportive tuition designed to help you achieve lasting results. My focus is not just on teaching software, but on building confidence and real-world skills that students can use every day.

About the lesson

My teaching style is patient, friendly, and practical. I believe people learn best when they feel comfortable asking questions and learning at their own pace.

• I specialise in Microsoft applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, and general computer skills.

• Lessons can focus on everyday computer confidence, workplace productivity, business skills, or specific Microsoft features and functions.

• I use real-life examples and hands-on exercises so that you can immediately apply what you learn.

• Whether you want to improve your skills for work, a new job, a promotion, your own business, or simply to feel more confident using technology, I can help.

• I understand that everyone learns differently, so I adapt my teaching approach to suit your preferred learning style and pace.

• Lessons are supportive, relaxed, and designed to build both your knowledge and confidence.

• During our first session, we will discuss your goals and create a learning plan that is tailored specifically to you.

My aim is not just to teach you how to use technology but to help you become confident, capable, and independent when using Microsoft applications and digital tools.

Typically 1 hour lessons, but this can be customised to suit personal needs.
