About Gene
I am Gene Hamm. My first job was on Lord of the Rings in 1978. The Hollywood cartoon studios were my school. I took night classes at Hanna-Barbera from animators who made classic cartoons. I worked on the Smurfs, Superfriends and Gumby. Then I taught animation and storyboards at Academy of Art University in San Francisco off and on for 15 years. I have completed two animated features by myself. I am about to start a third.
