About Charles J

Hi! My name is Charles, and I’m a native Indonesian speaker who has been living in Sydney for the past six years.

I enjoy helping people learn Bahasa Indonesia in a simple, practical, and enjoyable way. I have experience teaching Indonesian face-to-face around Sydney, and I’m now excited to help more students learn online as well.

My lessons are suitable for all levels, from complete beginners to advanced learners. I can adapt each lesson to your needs, whether you want to learn formal Indonesian, casual Indonesian, or everyday conversations.

We can focus on practical topics such as numbers, days, dates, shopping, ordering food, asking for directions, and other common situations you may experience in Indonesia.

My goal is to make learning Indonesian easy and comfortable, while helping you build confidence step by step. Whether you are learning for travel, work, conversation, or simply because you love Indonesia, I’d be happy to help you start your Indonesian journey!

Note: Besides learning the language, if you live around Sydney, If you interested I’ll also would like to take you to Indonesian restaurants and shops that sell Indonesian food and snacks.

About the lesson

I will teach you practical Indonesian that you can use in everyday life, whether you prefer face to face or online. We will start with the basics, such as numbers, days, dates, and how to buy things. We will also learn common words, phrases, and expressions that Indonesian people use in daily conversations.

My lessons can be adapted to your needs, whether you want to learn formal Indonesian or casual Indonesian for everyday conversations. The goal is to help you feel confident using Indonesian in real-life situations.
