About Yeseul

Hi there! Let’s learn Korean together – step by step, with fun and confidence. Hello! I'm a native Korean tutor currently living in Australia. I’ve been tutoring Korean for over a year now, and I’ve had the pleasure of working with students from many different backgrounds. As someone who is also studying English every day, I truly understand how challenging and rewarding it is to learn a new language. That’s why I want to create a learning environment where we can grow together and support each other. My Teaching Style My lessons are fully customized to fit your goals, level, and interests. Whether you want to practice everyday conversation, improve your grammar, prepare for TOPIK, or just enjoy Korean culture more deeply, I’ll adjust the lessons to suit your needs. I focus on real-life Korean you can actually use, and I also love explaining the cultural context behind expressions. Lesson Duration A typical lesson is 60 minutes, but I also offer 30-minute or 90-minute sessions depending on your learning style and schedule. Experience & Background I have a degree in Business Administration and over one year of experience teaching Korean to teens and adults. I’ve worked with beginners learning Hangul, as well as intermediate learners wanting to speak more naturally. My students say they enjoy my friendly and encouraging teaching style, and that they feel more confident after each session. Who My Lessons Are For I welcome learners aged 13 and up, from complete beginners to lower-intermediate levels. Whether you're learning Korean for travel, work, study, or fun – you're in the right place! Let’s grow together Since I’m also studying English as a second language, I truly relate to your journey. I begin by assessing each learner's strengths, weaknesses, and goals, then tailor lessons accordingly. My methodology combines clear explanations with interactive exercises, real-world examples, and regular feedback. • Typical Length of a Lesson Each lesson typically lasts 60 minutes, though I also offer 30- and 90-minute sessions depending on the student’s needs and attention span. For younger learners or more focused skill-building, shorter lessons may be more appropriate. • Qualifications/Experience as a Tutor I've taught 4 students in Korea, Australia, and Poland. And I have over 3 years of tutoring experience in Korean for foreigners and Korean for entering Korean uni. I’ve worked with students ranging from beginners to advanced levels, both in one-on-one, online and in person. • Who Are Your Lessons For My lessons are suitable for learners of all ages and levels. I work with children (ages 7+), teenagers, and adults—whether you're a beginner building a foundation or an advanced learner refining specific skills.
