About Kamakshi

I am excited to mentor students/learners where I could deliver lessons combining my expertise in mathematics, data science, and machine learning. My professional journey uniquely blends a profound passion for education with a strong foundation in computational technologies, enabling me to inspire and empower learners across diverse disciplines. As a faculty member in the Mathematics Department at Vidyamandir Classes—one of India’s most prestigious institutions for IIT-JEE preparation—I have had the privilege of teaching and mentoring some of the brightest minds in the country. Recognizing the immense pressure students face in competitive examinations, I have continually strived to make mathematical concepts accessible and engaging through innovative teaching methods. This dedication has allowed me to not only help students master complex topics but also cultivate a genuine appreciation for mathematics. Complementing my teaching experience, I hold an MSc in Data Science and Machine Learning from University College London, where I graduated with distinction. My research in deep learning has been recognized with a publication (link: (concealed information) underscoring my commitment to advancing knowledge in this dynamic field. Currently, as a Data Scientist at NomoFintech, I leverage my expertise to solve complex problems, a role I secured through the prestigious Tier 1 Exceptional Talent visa—awarded to only 200 individuals worldwide in the tech sector. Beyond my professional roles, I am deeply committed to mentoring aspiring learners in data science and machine learning. Through my engagement with Great Learning, I have had the opportunity to teach software developers from across the globe, including professionals from the USA, Canada, Singapore, London, and Dubai. My average feedback rating of 4.80/5 reflects my ability to effectively communicate complex concepts, adapt to diverse learner needs, and inspire confidence in my students. (Link to feedback: (concealed information) What drives me is the opportunity to combine my teaching experience with my technical expertise. Whether simplifying calculus for high school students or demystifying machine learning algorithms for industry professionals, I find immense gratification in empowering learners to overcome challenges and achieve their goals. I am particularly motivated to design and deliver interdisciplinary courses that integrate mathematical rigor with practical applications in data science, equipping students with skills that are both foundational and future-ready. I would be honored to bring my teaching philosophy, technical acumen, and unwavering enthusiasm, contributing to its tradition of academic excellence.
