About October
18-year-old part-time English and creative writing tutor. Freshman in college at the University of Evansville. No professional experience, but I’ve helped several of my friends and peers up their grades in their English classes and have, generally, been favored by my English teachers due to my writing capabilities. Achievements possibly associated with field: - Placed 6th in Indiana during the 2024 English Academic Bowl - Exclusively received an 8/9 during the 2023 IN Academic Spell Bowl - Scored 4/6 on an AP English Lang exam, among 2-3 other students at school who did the same

Writing is, quite possibly, one of the most difficult hobbies to entertain and one of the most competitive communities to be a part of. It’s even more difficult when you’re forced to write with little experience for school or work, not wanting to do it at all.
However, as someone who believes writing is a staple among all forms of expression in our world, I want to flip this point of view for as many students as possible.
As a tutor, I wish to make all aspects of English and writing as subjects engaging, memorable, and beneficial to the psyche. Lessons are broken down into sections about all the particular skills required to excel in one’s English class, including but not limited to:
