About Xavier
I have played electric and double bass on some of the biggest and smallest stages around including Carnegie Hall in New York City and the Walt Disney Theater in Orlando. I’ve been part of many ensembles ranging from big bands to jazz combos to rock bands. I’ve written music in many different styles from classical to rock. I’ve helped my students grow from being absolute beginners to full professionals.

My goal as a teacher is to get students to the skill level they need to be to achieve what they want to do. Wanna learn jazz? We can start with basic walking blues lines all the way to sight reading, soloing, and all kinds of styles. Wanna learn rock? Let’s learn some songs and jam! We can get into song writing or whatever your heart desires. At the end of the day, when you take lessons with me they will be fully focused on you and your ambitions!
