I have recently graduated from the University of South Australia with a Bachelor's degree in Midwifery. My lessons will be tailored for each student and will focus on gaps in knowledge. The lessons are intended to complement regular midwifery education as a way of filling in any missed information or concepts that weren't easily understood.
I believe that the student is the driver of their education, and the tutor, is there to facilitate their learning.
my teaching method is learning about what the students need and how they learn best i also like doing heaps of hands on stuff and not so much writing/talking i also like to do powerpoints to help people learn and i make them fun and colourful
The art of understanding anatomy and physiology and to apply it to practice is the skill for pregnancy assessment.
I have used a range of teaching methods to teach different groups of students. I have experiences in teaching both local and overseas students. I do online virtual and face-to-face teaching. I have lots of high-quality teaching material such as powerpoints to share my knowledge with you.
It will depend on the requirement of the student making sure that the student has a good grip on the subject. Individual or group lessons both can be done. Flexible about the timing too.
my teaching method will be different types likewise class participation, demonstration, recitation, memorization and combination. Using high technological materials and lesson plan before the class start. Interaction between the student. Proper Learning environment .
I approach teaching through peer learning, trust, and respect. As a student, I found talking about complex issues and problem-solving useful in a group setting, and understand that learning within a clinical setting can be fast-paced and sometimes scary! I hope to give you the opportunity to consolidate learning in lectures, clinical placements, and labs.
My classes are appropriate to the level of teaching required. I usually use understandable and dynamic presentations. Support material will be given: readings, articles or videos that improve comprehension of the subject. My method is to encourage understanding and reasoning and when memorizing is needed, to use mnemonics.
My classes are based on the needs of the student and referenced in exceptional literary bases, which I use in my academic training. Dynamic classes (of active and dialectical methodology) but objective (with emphasis on learning what is essential in the clinical practice of the future doctor). I have experience in Health Education Methodology.
