I like to tailor my lessons to the student, and am flexible in this regard. I am a fan of problem-based teaching, where I not only teach theory to students but also work out problems and think about situations with them.
I like to begin by introducing the student to the overarching concept and building a solid foundation before moving onto the specific ideas and concepts. I like to use a variety of techniques such as mind-maps, checklists and flow charts alongside discussion and key note summaries for the student to take home at the end of each session.
Any tutorial or lesson relevant to Biology or Chemistry is fine. Students need tutorial or private teacher after class are geared towards. Students should show me what they learnt and any questions in class and I can help them answer the questions. PPT or notes are necessary to help understanding. It would be better if they have previous year past exam paper.
Lots of drawing and questions. Diagrams helped me a lot in Biology and having a tutor that had the time to answer the same questions I had until I understood the concepts is what really made a difference for me. However I do take into account that each student learns differently therefore teaching methods will be tailored to best suit the student.

My teaching method usually involves the student sending me topics and questions that they are struggling with and I work out multiple different ways to explain the concepts to them, along with providing further problems to test their understanding and recommending the best sites/videos to help cement their understanding.
My teaching methodology could be conventional, problem based or through experience I would prefer the one on one conventional teacher student classroom setting way of teaching but not limited to one way knowledge feed however also accepts students knowledge and feedback it would be best to understand biology and appreciate its aspects more through hands on experiments and field work
My method of teaching stems from my experience as a student at university for 6 years as well as working in laboratories under doctoral's, therefore I have found in my experience, I learned better when large blocks of information was disseminated into granular forms with real-life examples to correlate along with what I was expected to learn.
