Kate has been nothing but supportive of my needs in my time with her. Every lesson feels individual, fun and challenging (in a good way). Kate is always happy to adapt the lesson if I feel something is too much or if I want to go over something specific from my group classes. I love how well-informed Kate is about the theory and science behind ballet, as this really helps me to learn. I can put two and two together and make sense of the movement. Kate goes out of her way to help me improve, such as, referring me to additional resources; recommending specific exercises and helping me overcome certain anxieties I have in dancing. Kate is the best ballet tutor I could have ever asked for. I started in March 2020 (over lockdown)as a complete beginner. Kate is patient, attentive and so easy to get on with. I have continued to have lessons on a weekly basis and she has helped me to progress to Grade 7, a grade I never thought I’d achieve! And aspiring to En Pointe soon. Kate has the ability to make sessions immensely enjoyable ranging from her music choices as well as helping me grow in confidence, especially with pirouettes.
