About Annabella
Hey! My name is Annabella (Bella), and I am a friendly A-Level student based in the Alnwick area. I strive to help my students become confident in their own ability. I understand the frustrations that come with trying your best to learn something but being unable to do so for various reasons. My approach is to create a comfortable learning environment and have a patient approach to take the time to understand what each student needs from me as a tutor. Attempting to develop a more positive relationship between the student and the subject, which can extend to the student feeling more confident in maths lessons and preparing for exams.

I intend to tutor students ranging in ages 8 to 16 in Primary, Secondary, and GCSE Maths.
Lessons will typically last 60 minutes once a week. The time in the session will be used to understand the child's individual needs and what they need support with, to understand or learn from scratch a concept, and then apply what they have learned to practice questions to test and reinforce their learning.
I adapt my teaching strategy to each student's learning style and age, whether that means getting on our feet and moving around while learning or using objects to visually show and represent the concept. Each approach is different to each child.
