My Approach to Tutoring and How I Teach My Classes: I take a student-centred and structured approach to tutoring. Every lesson is tailored to the student’s understanding, learning style, and goals. I break down complex psychological concepts into clear, manageable sections, using examples, diagrams, and real-life applications to make the material engaging and easy to remember. I emphasise exam technique and essay writing, guiding students on how to structure answers, include evaluation points, and apply theory to scenarios. Lessons are interactive, encouraging students to ask questions, discuss ideas, and develop critical thinking skills. For students who feel anxious or struggle with confidence, I integrate gentle support and motivation, drawing on my Counselling Diploma from Birkbeck, University of London. Typical lesson length: Standard lessons are 60 minutes Each lesson includes concept teaching, practice questions, discussion, and review/homework Qualifications and experience: MSc in Mental Health, King’s College London Counselling Diploma, Birkbeck, University of London Experience in teaching A-Level Psychology, exam techniques, research methods, essay writing, and confidence-building Who the lessons are for: Students studying A-Level Psychology (AQA) Also ideal for students seeking support with exam stress, study strategies, and confidence
