About Zoe

I achieved a grade 8 in biology and am now studying it at A-Level so am well suited to tutor this subject. As a student, I can also provide relevant advice for students about preparing for mocks and details of my experiences at GCSE level. Although I do not study chemistry and physics at A-Level, I did do them for GCSE and received good grades so am also willing to cover these slightly if it is necessary for the student's learning.

About the lesson

My lessons are an hour in length, aimed for GCSE biology students or below, they include going over subject content so that the student can ask questions about areas they are unsure of and expand their understanding in the topic area. Lessons will often include short quiz-style tests to consolidate knowledge and past paper practice to improve exam technique.

I was considering dropping my GCSE biology as I was finding it too complicated but thankfully a classmate recommended Zoe to me and I now have a much greater understanding of the subject! I will continue with Zoe if I ever get stuck again.

Zoe is a classmate of mine and I know her to be highly competent in biology. She often explains topics to me when I don't understand them, in a way that makes more sense to me than when my teachers explain them. She is really passionate about biology and instils that passion into others around her. I feel her style of tutoring is much easier to understand than that of many of my teachers, and she is always friendly and encouraging.
