Hi!
My name is Fil and I am here to help you on your math journey!
Math can be challenging when starting to get used to concepts and can become beautiful when fully understood.
I have a mechanical engineering degree, and have worked in various fields applying fundamentals into different applications such as pump performance, product design, and process improvement.
I believe that we are able to understand the things we find challenging with effort, encouragement and repeated practice.

My lessons are structured on a student centred approach who need help to understand concepts that they are learning or interested in. The idea is that the student dictates the work to be done with a guiding eye and gets help around stuck points while working through problems.
It is not easy to feel as if you are struggling through a concept and encouragement is always given.
I believe repetition and consistency are the keys to success.
My lessons are for students ages 10-18, or university students perusing an engineering focus.
