My services can support middle school, high school, and collegiate students who may benefit from the services listed below.
In addition to my B.A. in English and Secondary Education, I have two years of experience working in a collegiate writing center where any student can receive 1-on-1 support on media of all forms for academics and career readiness!
I have a passion for making the writing process uncomplicated and understandable. I especially love creating essay outlines, teaching close-reading strategies, preparing for public speaking, and breaking down the concepts of literary analysis, essay organization, and all things citing and using text evidence.
In the first session with any new student, we will set goals and create an action plan for your success, and then begin on the most immediate work or concerns; always tailoring to your needs and circumstances! My services can include working together on specific assignments, preparing for specific tests, or I can customize a lesson plan to build and practice foundational skills.
I also offer career readiness services, all of which I was specifically trained to provide during my time at the writing center. This includes but is not limited to resume building and revising, cover letter drafting and editing, college and scholarship application essays, interview preparation, and dissertation and thesis editing.
