About Katrina

My goal as your makeup teacher is that you leave each lesson with a new confidence in yourself, and in your ability in makeup. On my previous teaching platform that has now closed, my rating never dropped below 4.5/5 stars. I pride myself on improving and refining my teaching skills with every lesson. And I’m aware that just as my students are learning something from me, I too, am learning things from them.

About the lesson

Makeup artistry is something I had such an interest in since a child. When I got older and began to learn for myself, I struggled to learn, even from videos. In my lack, I learned how to communicate to my students in a way that brings about breakthroughs for techniques they’ve tried mastering on their own and from videos. So I’ve learned to approach my lessons with flexibility tailored to my student’s preferred learning style. You are able to watch me, follow along with me, or have me watch you do your makeup and give feedback on how to improve. I’ve taught classes with more than 20 students, I’ve taught 1-1’s. My 60, 90, and 120 minute classes leave all of my students feeling confident in their application abilities. I won’t be your forever teacher. I pride myself on my students being satisfied after no more than five classes with me.
