About Jenny
I am a qualified English Teacher/Tutor with seventeen years' experience of teaching at all levels, with additional training in teaching students with specific learning difficulties. I have worked in many schools as a mainstream teacher and as a one-to-one tutor within schools, and also externally. Throughout my career I have had extensive success in helping students achieve their required grades at SATs and GCSE level, as well as the English components of the 11+ tests. My time spent as an exam marker and moderator of SATs and GCSE English Language and Literature has also profoundly contributed to this success. I am also currently studying an MA in Education.

I am a friendly, fun and creative teacher/tutor who is currently offering lessons in English Language and Literacy , across all key stages (including 11+ preparation), and to adults seeking to enhance their literacy skills or retake their GCSEs. I have a high success rate of helping students realise their full potential in English and to achieve the grades they desire. I also offer one-off lessons for proof reading, help with assignments, letter writing CV, job applications and supporting statements .
