About Philip
I am a Senior Sales Ops Analyst at a global risk management firm based in London. I work with data constantly and am proficient in Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint.
Like you, I started out with very little knowledge of the practical applications of Excel, other than the basic functions. Over my professional career, I have learnt how to use Excel to my advantage in both my personal and professional life. I enjoy passing on this knowledge of others, and have since mentored peers and individuals of all ages and backgrounds to augment their knowledge of Excel in real life situations.
In my spare time, I volunteer at The Brain Tumour Charity, where I use my knowledge of Excel to help clean data and draw insights.

I offer lessons in computer skills, from basic Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and Outlook skills to advanced financial modelling and data analysis on Microsoft Excel.
I graduated from Sussex University with a degree in Neuroscience, so I am attuned personalising each lesson's difficulty level to suit each person's learning style and pace. There isn't such thing as something taking 'too long to learn' - I am always happy to explain and re-explain things to make sure you understand the fundamentals before progressing onto more advanced topics. If I don't know the answer to your question, then we will find out together. The point is, I am there to support you through your journey in understanding Excel, whether to improve your personal finances or to support your professional goals.
Fun fact: I used to work at an Apple store for 4 years where I delivered workshops teaching deaf customers how to use accessibility features and software - this was one of my most gratifying teaching experiences, which demonstrates that I have the flexibility to adapt my teaching methodology to suit individual needs.
